Fruit and Vegetable Forum for Commercial Farmers – March 25, 2011 at the NYS Fairgrounds

CCE Onondaga has joined with Cornell University Cooperative Extension’s highly acclaimed Fruit and Vegetable Teams to bring their expertise and assistance to commercial fruit and vegetable growers in Onondaga County. These teams serve farmers across New York State by bringing cutting-edge research and proven techniques to individual farms. Fruit and vegetable farmers in Onondaga County will now have access to experts in a variety of subjects, including:
- Pest management
- Soil health and crop nutrition
- Harvest and handling of crops
- Good Agricultural Practices
- Labor management strategies
- Farm business analysis
- Variety development-on-farm trials
- Market development
