Successful Build Day at Jubilee Urban Farm
On April 16th, volunteers from SUNY-ESF, Syracuse University, Onondaga Earth Corps, and the Southside neighborhood came out to the farm at 100 Bellevue Avenue in support of the Syracuse Grows Resource Drive. Despite the rain, they built raised beds, filled garden soxx, and began site clean-up, including tearing out an old fence. This work day was the first of many to be held at the Jubilee Urban Farm this spring and summer.
The Jubilee Urban Farm is a project of Jubilee Homes, in partnership with SUNY-ESF and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Onondaga County. Look for produce from our first growing season at Urban Delights’ farm stands this summer!
