NYS Route 80 (Hamilton-Skaneateles Turnpike)
The road was incorporated in 1805 and began in the Town of Richfield, Otsego County. From Richfield the turnpike ran through Brookfield and Hamilton in Southern Madison County and then through the northern part of the Town of Fabius near the north part of Fabius Mountain, through the north part of the Tully to the “Third Great Western Turnpike (former Genesee Road). Records in the Town of Marcellus and Town of Skaneateles have the Hamilton-Skaneateles Turnpike, Seneca Turnpike and Cherry Valley Turnpike intersecting near one another east of Skaneateles.
